This free course is for those wishing to learn the Java programming language. It is aimed at complete beginners to the subject, and no knowledge is assumed. The software you need to do the course is present in the tutorials. This course gives you a wide overview about java programming, its data types, operators, statements and flow control, oops, inheritance and polymorphism etc.

My name is Javed Iqbal. I have created a website for you to learn Computer Programming especially in C# and VB.NET. I have plans to cover range of topics such as Mobile Computing, Game Design, Application Programming, Design Patterns and Object Oriented Programming (OOP). I live in Birmingham in United Kingdom but originally from Peshawar, Pakistan, where I studied Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. During the first year of Engineering course, I developed interest in programming especially C language. This interest took me to learn Visual C++ (MFC class library). Later, I started learning Visual Basic (VB5/6) in year 1999. Slowly but surely developed some skills in programming. Later on, I moved to Web Programming and learned HTML and CSS.
